The cottage is about 9 miles south west of the town of Vire. It is in a hamlet of the village of Champ du Boult, on the southern edge of the Department of Calvados. The Caen/Ouistreham Ferry Terminal is about an hour and a quarter to the north of the cottage, Cherbourg and St Malo are less than two hours away, Le Havre just a little more and Calais is about 4.5hours.

All the roads are excellent and seldom crowded. Ryanair and Air Aurigny both fly into Dinard (DNR) which is close to St Malo. Cars can be hired there. You can also find us on the Ryanair website.
