Holiday Cottage in Normandy, France.

The open-plan living room has a traditional Normandy fireplace,a wood-burning stove, beamed ceiling, terracotta floor, rugs, comfortable furniture, flat-screen satellite tv and radio. There are books, magazines and tourist information to accompany a glass of wine. It is well equipped with fridge, electric rings and oven, microwave, iron & ironing board. With the dining table and chairs and cupboards that are well stocked with crockery, glasses and utensils you can cater for yourselves or else try out some of the excellent restaurants of the region.

Up the open-tread staircase you will find a small double bedroom and spacious ensuite shower room. There's a hair-drier, kettle and morning tea-tray too.

    We supply toilet paper, washing up liquid and the bed will be made up ready to sink into. There will be a cruet with salt and pepper, cooking oil, vinegar, vacuum flask, kitchen roll, foil and clingfilm. But we do not supply towels and tea- towels unless you say you are coming by plane or motor-bike!
