A Normandy Cottage for Two People to Rent in France

Rent our little Normandy cottage or gite  for two people in the beautiful Lower Normandy region of France. There aren't many one bedroom  holiday cottages available.for rental as you have probably realised until you found us. This  little Normandy cottage is situated in the rolling, green 'bocage'  countryside of Calvados. The 'bocage' is the pattern of fields and hedgerows with  mazes of high-hedged little lanes.The air is fresh and clean and you'll find the pace of life more like Britain was 30 years ago.

The granite cottage  is situated in a small hamlet. You'll be rural but not isolated. There are two villages just over a mile away. Champ du Boult has a friendly bar where you can also buy bread and a few essentials. St Michel de Monjoie has a little grocery store and a petrol pump and from here you can get your first glimpse of lovely Mont St Michel.Larger towns and villages are not far away You'll also find wonderful restaurants and markets to sample.

With a courtyard to the front and a garden with loungers to the rear and your own enclosed parking space close by, relaxing will come easily to you. There's also an outdoor table and chairs, cushions, a parasol and barbecue.

This holiday villa near Vire has the feel of a real home rather than an impersonal gite. Ornaments and artefacts all add to its charm. The cottage is quite private with its own entrance, sitting-out space, parking and garden.

By paying in Sterling for the cottage and a crossing, fuel for the car at much the same price as in the UK and a range of supermarkets such as Carrefour, Leclerc, Aldi and Lidl in Vire it means that your holiday does not have to be very expensive.
